We have now been in Goa for one week. This was our favorite week. We had a very good time here. The hotel was good. We did`n went to see any temples or go shopping in Goa like we did in Agra and New Delhi. In Goa we just were at the beach and things like that. The ocean was perfect, it was like turquoise colour on the ocean. The sand was white, and you got your own sunbed and your own umbrella if you don`t want to be in the sun. It was very hot, it was over 30 degrees everyday. I really recomend you to go to Goa. The best person to go with is your boyfriend, because it`s a very romantic place. Here down you can see some photos from Goa at the beach then i`m going to write about the hotel and add photos. 

The hotel we were in called Ramada Caravela Beach Resort. This hotel was very luxury and like i sad romantic. The beach was not so far away from the hotel. We had to walk a little bit but not too much. The hotel had pools but we swimed more in the ocean than the pools because i like more to swim in the ocean then in the pool. On the beach but a little bit away from the ocean was it two resturants were we could eat dinner and watch at the ocean and when the sun goes down. It was a great we had much fun and we got brown too. We had a hotel room with a very beutiful view at the ocean.

Today It`s our last day in India. This 3 weeks that we have been here has gone so fast, but we had a great time together. I have many good memories from this trip, but my favourite is when we visited Taj Mahal, and that we went here in Goa. The good memorie is also that we have buy many things in New Delhi and Agra. The best thing with this trip was that i was together with my boyfriend. Compare to Sweden, India has more big buildings temples around the country, like fo example Taj Mahal and Swaminarayan Akshardham. India has also a ocean and big beaches, in Sweden we have more seas than oceans. More turists choose to go to India than in Sweden, because the climate is warmer and you have so much more to see in India than in Sweden. India is called the world`s largest democracy. They have one president as a head of state, but the power is located at the government with a Prime Minister. In Sweden we have one Prime Minister that are voted by peoples every four years. The ordinary state schools are free to go in. You don`t have to pay, but many poor families needs help from their kids to get money. The kids must go to work instead for going to school. Most families allows their sons to go to school in a few years because a good education helps when they are going to find jobs. But the girls must stay home because the tradition is like that in India. Those that lives in countryside they don`t have good schools like those that lives in the cities. In Sweden the schools are free. All schools in Sweden are the same, maybe everything is not the same but you get good education. In Sweden kids can´t work until they are 18 years old. 

So this was our trip to India. I really recomend you to go to India it`s really a beutiful country and you have so much to see.

Taj Mahal:

It`s our last day in Agra today. I`m not going to write what we did everyday, i write every place that we visited on the last day we are staying in the city. Taj Mahal was the first place that we visited in Agra. Taj Mahal is located on the river Yamuna. It`s like a big white mosque. This building is 73 meters high and it opened year 1648, so Taj Mahal is 367 years old. This was my favourite thing that we saw until now. We went to Agra just to see this building and of course to do other things too, but mostly i wanted to se Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal has four minarets that are over 40 meters high. We saw also graves here, one special grave that we saw was Shah Jahans grave. He was a emperor that died year 1666 and was buried in Taj Mahal.

Jawab Masjib:

This was the second place we were at. It`s called Jawab Masjib. This is a mosque made of red sandstone. This mosque is used for Friday prayers. This building stays in opposite from Taj Mahal. When we came out from Jawab Masjib we saw Taj Mahal. Before you got in, in Jawab Masjib you had to take off your shoes. 

Shopping:

We were at two different shopping malls in Agra. Both were very nice and we buyed more things here than in New Delhi. The first mall we were at was TDI mall.

And the second mall we went to was Omaxe mall.

Our hotel that we stayed in Agra called The Oberoi Amarvilas. This hotel was also very nice, it was also very luxury. We could sit on a balcony and eat something and look at Taj Mahal from the balcony. This hotel had also a pool and it was a very big hotel. We had also a view on Taj Mahal from our balcony in our bedroom.

 That was all that we have done in Agra. Tomorrow we are going to Goa. I can`t wait i love beaches and to swim in the ocean.  

Swaminarayan Akshardham:

Today It`s the last day in New Delhi and i have decide to write aboute all activities that we have done here. So we visited Swaminarayan Akshardham. This is one of the biggest temples in India after the Akshardham in Gandhinagar. This temple opened on 6:th november 2005. Before you came in the temple you have to walk a big garden. Swaminarayan Akshardham is an abode of god , a hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. This temple was so beutiful. At the door you saw a big and golden statue sitting and then it was  a little statue a little bit away from the big statue sitting on the knees and begging to the big statue. Then when you came in, in the temple it was the same big statue but many little statues that were also sitting on knees and begging to the big one. The whole building was covered of drawn figures.

Humayuns Tomb:

The big two-storey building is made of sandstone. They are graves in this building. Some Mogul ruler are in those graves but also the Emperor that died year 1500. When you came in, in the area that the temple stays on you can see big square gardens that are devided in four parts. Right through the aisles flows narrow water channels. This was also very interesting to see and a little scary because of the graves.

Shopping:

We were in three different shopping malls and one bazaar.

The first mall we were in, called Shipra mall. This mall was very nice and it had also nice shops and resturants. We buyed some things there but not too much because we had more malls to go to. All three malls that we went to were nice I`m not going to wite much about the two other malls because that was`nt anything special with them. It was malls like anywhere in the world but with indish things.:)

The second mall we went to was Star City Mall.

And the third we went to is The Great India Place. In this mall we find a bazaar.

This week in New Delhi have we also met some locals that invited me and my boyfriend to their home and they told us about their lives. So this was a family, they had 3 kids, two girls and one boy. They lived in a big house. The dad had a company for helping poor families, together with his wife, their kids went to shool and they were very good in school did the mum and dad say. Their hous was very nice and very big too. They had 3 cars that are very expensive. The family told us that they are a very happy family we had everything did they say. They told us also that they want to help so many families they could because they felt very sorry for the poor families. Some peoples lives ritch lives, and don`t know what to do with so much money, and then some poor families don`t have money to buy to eat something. 

Hello again! 

It`s the 11:th June and the clock is 12.pm We have`nt sleep very well, we arrived in the hotel at 10 o`clock. We were in New Delhis airport at 8:50 but we had to go out from the plain and then we had to get our bags and of course that took time. After that we took a taxi to the hotel. The hotel is 25 minutes away from the airport. The hotel is so beutiful. It is a hotel that is very luxuriosly. Our hotel room is perfect. You can see photos from our room a bit down. The hotel has also a pool on the rooftop and you can see the whole city from the roof. We are really going to have a great time in India. Today we are not going to do anything special, we are just going out in the city to look around a little bit. It´s not so easy to find everything in a city that you never have been in before. That we have planed to do in New Delhi is going to see Swaminarayan Akshardham. This is a temple in New Delhi. It`s one of the largest Hindu temple in India. And also we are going to visit Humayuns Grave and of course go shoppng in shopping malls Star City Mall, Shipra Mall and The Great India Place. Some Indian Bazaar would be nice too.

It is June the 10:th and I`m sitting in the car togheter with my boyfriend. We are going to Stockholm airport Arlanda. Arlanda is for about 3 hours away from Karlskoga, the city that we live in. My boyfriend is driving the car. It`s 12 in the morning, the plain flies on 6 o`clock so we have a quite long time to get to Stockholm. We must be in the Airport 2 hours before the aiairplane flies.       

3 and a half hour later

3 hours and 30 minutes has gone and we are now on the airport. The car have we left on a parking that is next to the airport. We are so exitidet for the trip, it´s going to be so fun. The flight takes 10 hours and 50 min and we are not going to change plane it`s direct from Arlanda to New Delhi. We have now left the bags, and we are going to eat or drink something. I cant wait until i sit in the airplane. I think that it`s going to be very boring in the airplane, i have never sit in a plane more than 10 hours. The longest time i have sit in a airplane is 4 hours. But it`s worth to sit 10 hours in the plane because than you come to a beutiful country. Like i sad before, the plane flies on 6 o`clock so we are in india on the 11:th june at 8:50 o`clock in the morning. We are going to stay 3 weaks in India, one weak in New Delhi, one weak in Agra and one weak in Goa. The hotel that we are going to live in New Delhi is called The Leela Palace. It`s a hotel with 5 stars. In Agra we are going to live in The Oberoi Amarvilas, and in Goa the hotel is called Ramada Caravela Beach Resort. All three hotels that we have choose to live in has 5 stars.

Now it`s time to go to the plane. The clock is half 6. So i hope that the flight is going to be okey all the way to India. I`m a little nervouse for sitting 10 hours and 50 min in the plane, but the good thing is that i am togheter with my boyfriend so it`s nothing to be afraid of. I will write again when we arrive to the hotel because i don`t think that i have any internet somwhere else. Bye:)

India has 1 282 390 303 residents, 41% peoples in the country talks english and Hindi. This country is the 7:th biggest country in the world. New Delhi is Indias biggest city. India is locate in south Asia. 80,5% of the peoples are hindus, 13,4% muslims and 2,3% christian.

The fisrt city we are going to is New Delhi. New Delhi has 15 000 000 residents. Delhi is a city with millenerian history and many beutiful mosques and other buildings that are very old. 

The second country we are going to is Agra. Agra is a city at the river Yamuna in western part of the Indian land Uttar Pradesh. Agra is 200 kilometers away from New Delhi. This city has 1 760 285 residents. Agra is well known for the beutiful building Taj Mahal.

And the third country we are going to visit is Goa. Goa is the smallest land in India and is located in west India. Goa is a popular location because of the tropical beaches. This small city has 1,817 milion residents.
